Sales Specialist - Midlands

Job Description

The Role

This is a field-based sales position and we are looking for a technically strong individual as they will be accountable for installing, training and trouble-shooting on all their instruments sites and kits. You will be accountable for covering all NHS hospitals and any other labs deemed fit by making appointments to see relevant key opinions leaders, introduction of products, display of products.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Service current accounts, obtain orders, and identify new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets

• Pro-actively setting up meetings to see clients

• Pro-actively researching and approaching other markets and industries

• Installation and training on all the products is ongoing

• Keep manager informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.

• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising methods, etc.

• Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

• Resolve any customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending any necessary recommended training courses; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and attending relevant exhibitions

• Maintaining records on area and customer sales via CRM.

• Scientific Degree a necessity (Biomedical preferable)

• Commercial experience and knowledge of NHS labs useful
