Export Sales Manager - UK

Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate Export Sales Manager to manage client accounts and serve as our main point of contact. The ideal person will be eager in helping others and a drive for supplying excellent customer service. Applicants should also be proficient with audits, spreadsheets, quotation tools and CRM.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver and over delivery of the quarter and annual sales plan / responsible for overall development and execution.
  • Identify target customers / markets and understand their needs by country / territory /Segment.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary
  • Build effective trading relationships with key decision makers
  • Customer Facing role with planned visits and Teams meetings throughout the year to check in country coverage and availability of company products in the market, competitor's activities and look for new business opportunities to safeguard the customer base and increase market share.
  • Identify and report on business-to-business opportunities in target markets or product categories.
  • Maximise business opportunities, build a strong pipeline on the CRM and driving growth with every meeting.
  • Support sales process by anticipating and resolving issues expediently.
  • Represent customer interests in driving business strategy and management decisions.
  • Maintain accurate sales records through our CRM.
  • Liaise fully with the marketing team to design and execute short- and long-term marketing campaigns for the business-to-business revenue stream.
  • Represent the Company at trade shows, conferences, and events, as appropriate.
  • Manage and report on the sales budget.
  • In addition to the main duties there will also be other ad hoc job-related tasks that will need to be actioned by you to support the running of the Company.
  • UK Resident preferably M4 Corridor but not Essential

 

Skills/Qualifications

  • Preferably two spoken and written languages
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback from a strong business acumen
  • Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network and efficient routing to ensure timely deliveries and superior levels of service to company customers.
  • Co-ordinate with Finance & Accounts to ensure compliance with all financial norms to control collections and receivables.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and ability to use effectively for reporting and opportunity management.
  • Microbiology or Medical Device Sales Experience preferred
  • Presentation+ Negotiation skills with excellent Leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Professional and mature attitude towards resolving problems with a behaviour competency to build relationships
  • Competent IT Skills: Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word / PowerPoint
  • Full driving licence
