About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Life Science Recruitment Associate to join our team. In this entry-level position, you will play a key role in supporting our recruitment efforts, focusing on business development, and assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, and placement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research target companies thoroughly to understand their industry, products/services, and potential needs.
- Identify potential business opportunities by analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Cold-calling and other business development activities.
- Monitor and track sales metrics, pipeline activity, and performance against targets, adjusting strategies as needed to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist senior recruiters with candidate sourcing through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and interest in potential job opportunities.
- Coordinate candidate interviews and assessments with clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records on our CRM system.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing email correspondence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in science is strongly preferred.
- Strong interest in sales, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Previous experience in recruitment or customer service roles is a plus, but not required.
