About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Field Sales Representative. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates with a background in life sciences to kick-start their career in field sales. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of innovative products to customers within the life science industry. This role involves extensive travel within the assigned territory, with excellent training and mentorship opportunities provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product portfolio and its applications within the life science industry.
  • Identify and target potential customers within academia, research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare settings within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers to present our products and services, address their needs, and provide solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, delivering exceptional customer service and support.
  • Actively prospect for new business opportunities and generate leads through research, networking events, and cold calling.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote our products, network with key stakeholders, and generate leads.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science-related field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, etc).
  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred, in any market.
  • Strong interest in sales and a desire to pursue a career in the life science industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously, with a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Valid driving license is essential and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
