About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for the repair, service, installation, and maintenance of liquid handling solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite service, installation, and breakdown repair of liquid handling and media preparation products, including manual, robotic and automated systems.
- Provide remote technical support for customers via email, phone, and other methods.
- Travel to customer sites for routine planned maintenance, installations, and breakdown repairs.
- Utilise technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Mentorship and comprehensive training will be provided, including additional factory training in Europe and the USA.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to drive business continuity.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Promote the company's brand and range of pipetting products.
Your background:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing field service engineering capacity, preferably with experience in high-value electronics or electro-mechanical capital equipment.
- Qualification in engineering, electronics, or a science-based subject, to a minimum of HND/HNC level.
- Experience and expertise in robotics, automation, and liquid handling technologies preferred.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland, including overnight stays.
- Must hold a Full Clean UK driving license & be eligible to work in the UK and travel to the EU and USA.
Remuneration and Benefits:
- Base Salary: £40K-£45K DOE
- £500 per month car allowance
