Account Manager - South UK

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To grow Sales within the South of the UK
  • To establish and report on business-to-business opportunities in target markets
  • To increase business opportunities, grow a strong pipeline, and driving sector growth
  • To meet and exceed sales expectations
  • Support sales methods by anticipating and resolving issues expediently
  • Grow and maintain a strong knowledge of industry issues and competitive landscape
  • Represent customer needs in driving business strategy and management decisions
  • Work alongside with executive management, colleagues to show a positive company culture
  • Up-keep correct sales records through Sage CRM
  • Communicate fully with the marketing team to design and execute short- and long-term marketing campaigns for the business-to-business revenue stream
  • To represent the Company at exhibitions, meetings, and events as required
  • Manage and report on the sales budget

Qualifications & Skills

  • A strong business knowledge
  • Has a commitment to over-achievement
  • 1+ years’ experience in sales, ideally within the diagnostics industry
  • Strong networking and communication skills
  • Previous understanding of CRM systems and ability to use efficiently for reporting and opportunity management
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and presentation skills
