Account Manager - North East UK

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate person to join our growing sales team driving revenue growth in our market. This role would suit someone with account management /sales experience and a strong drug discovery or life science background used to working in the fast-paced environment of venture backed company. We will also consider individuals looking to make a career move from a technical role into commercial.

The Role

To push the revenue growth of the Company’s innovative services and products at pharma and biotech companies. Working as part of the sales team develop on the current pipeline of leads and customers by creating new leads, progressing opportunities through the sale cycle working alongside with the technical and operation functions to deliver exceptional customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creating leads for new sales business to develop the value and quality of the CRM pipeline
  • Qualify MQLs and establishing customer requirements that match with the Company’s offerings.
  • Present the value proposition of the Company’s services and products to potential customers utilising technical support resources as needed to push customers through the sales cycle.
  • Manage value-based proposition development, presentation and negotiations to accomplish customer commitment.
  • Manage all aspects of customer account management to ensure exceptional experience and to build out networks, maintain brand and increase repeat business.
  • Establish key accounts with high-growth potential and implement strategies to maximise revenue and long-term growth at account.
  • Work with marketing function to implement campaigns in region to grow the Company’s recognition and network including attending exhibitions, congress’s and highlighting regional marketing opportunities.
  • Actively maintain knowledge and understanding of early drug discovery segment and industry proposing opportunities for the Company’s to expand the offer to its segment and maximise value.
  • Up-keeping the CRM system up to date to ensure company has real-time access to status of customers opportunities and projects, pipeline metrics and performance.
  • Work with the sales team to manage trans-national accounts, share information and coordinate customer strategy.
