Territory Sales Manager - Measurement Products - South West UK

Job Description

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for the support of existing customers and new business development throughout the territory. The successful candidate will join a motivated, international team.

Salary 40-45k + Commission up to 10k

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing existing customer accounts and generating new ones through thorough research, prospecting, and follow-up
  • Managing sales projects from initial lead to negotiation and order closing
  • Efficiently managing territories through planning and effective CRM use
  • Assisting in the development of customer applications
  • Participating in conferences and exhibitions
  • Aiding in the creation of marketing communications for customers within the territory
  • Conducting regular customer visits for sales presentations, demonstrations, installations, and training on proper equipment usage
  • Collaborating with other product teams to promote comprehensive solution offerings

Requirements:

  • Candidates should possess a degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years' experience with proven success in selling analytical instruments to diverse industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, petrochemical, and academia.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage with laboratory managers, scientists, academics, and technicians.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory, across the UK, and occasionally overseas for training and business meetings.
  • Residing in Bristol, Swindon, or the South West of England, with easy access to major road networks, and holding a full UK driving license.
