The Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for direct sales activities within a defined market, building strong client relationships and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a consultative sales approach, leveraging scientific expertise to support researchers and industry professionals. The ideal candidate will be recognized as a trusted expert, offering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Build and execute strategic account plans, reporting progress quarterly.
• Manage sales forecasting and develop growth strategies for the assigned territory.
• Strengthen relationships with existing clients and proactively engage new prospects.
• Maintain up-to-date market knowledge, including competitor activities and industry trends.
• Accurately track sales activities in CRM systems and provide regular reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient client support.
• Communicate effectively with customers through meetings, video calls, and written correspondence.
• Continuously expand scientific knowledge to provide value-added insights.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Life Sciences preferred; PhD highly desirable.
• Strong business development experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO sectors.
• Proven success in sales and key account management.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Client-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities, with the ability to perform under pressure.
