Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creation of plan to meet sales targets
  • Efficiently prospect and create new customer leads
  • Identify opportunities and key opinion leaders within UK
  • Delivery of technical/scientific conferences and presentations on products and services
  • Display command of scientific understanding to engage in high level collaborative sales methods
  • Partner cross-functionally to suitably address the requirements of customer base
  • Give regular, correct sales forecasts
  • Manage possible and current customer base
  • Grow and maintain strong customer connections at different levels in the business
  • This position will be mainly field based, with the odd travel to office

Qualification & Skills

  • Bachelors, Master’s or Doctorate in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Science
  • Life Science Degree is needed, higher degree is ideal
  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Experience in a strategic selling environment
  • Excellent Next Generation Sequence experience ideal, Molecular Biology background essential
  • Proven track record in lead creation and prospecting
  • Passionate to win business and establish long-term customer networks
  • Fluent spoken and written English language needed, extra language skills a bonus
