Duties & Responsibilities
- Creation of plan to meet sales targets
- Efficiently prospect and create new customer leads
- Identify opportunities and key opinion leaders within UK
- Delivery of technical/scientific conferences and presentations on products and services
- Display command of scientific understanding to engage in high level collaborative sales methods
- Partner cross-functionally to suitably address the requirements of customer base
- Give regular, correct sales forecasts
- Manage possible and current customer base
- Grow and maintain strong customer connections at different levels in the business
- This position will be mainly field based, with the odd travel to office
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelors, Master’s or Doctorate in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Science
- Life Science Degree is needed, higher degree is ideal
- 2+ years sales experience
- Experience in a strategic selling environment
- Excellent Next Generation Sequence experience ideal, Molecular Biology background essential
- Proven track record in lead creation and prospecting
- Passionate to win business and establish long-term customer networks
- Fluent spoken and written English language needed, extra language skills a bonus
