Technical Sales Specialist - North UK

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Experience of creating potential business networks and building a sales pipeline.
  • Be available to work on-site occasionally.
  • Supplying efficient management of current accounts in conjunction with our customer service team.
  • Business development in establishing and targeting possible new customers and developing the product portfolios into the existing customer base.
  • To reach yearly sales revenue and profitability targets as agreed.
  • Ensuring the successful introduction of new products into both existing and new customers through lead generation, cold calling and backing this up with regular communication and follow up.
  • Ensuring that existing and potential customers understand and appreciate the full benefit and added value the product range provides.
  • Continuously growing networks with our existing and potential customers and our technical team.
  • Take ownership of accounts and develop plan to maximise productivity.
  • Give technical sales presentations and support to our customer base.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in relevant Biological Science subject.
  • 1+ year relevant sales experience, ideally in the life sciences field.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills.
  • Professional approach, self-motivated, dynamic, accountable and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to establish and maintain high quality relationships with customers.
