We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Specialist – NGS to help launch and establish a new portfolio of high-performance reagents designed for Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) sample preparation. Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Territory Planning

  • Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with company objectives.
  • Accurately forecast demand and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

Demand Generation & Business Development

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting, leveraging professional networks, conferences, and targeted account mapping.
  • Engage with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, and leading academic laboratories where magnetic-bead-based NGS workflows deliver measurable advantages.

Technical Engagement & Deal Closure

  • Deliver impactful product demonstrations, proof-of-concept evaluations, and data-driven proposals.
  • Translate technical benefits into commercial value for scientific and procurement stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead identification to deal closure.

Customer Support & Retention

  • Act as the first point of contact post-sale to ensure a seamless onboarding and optimal customer experience.
  • Coordinate technical troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when required.
  • Build strong relationships that drive customer loyalty and repeat purchases.

Market Insight & Intelligence

  • Monitor NGS trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
  • Communicate insights and feedback to internal teams to support product development, pricing, and marketing initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams across applications, operations, and marketing to align forecasts and promotional activities.
  • Contribute to developing CRM best practices, territory reporting, and pipeline analytics.

Account Partnership

  • Collaborate with regional account managers to identify reagent opportunities within existing customer bases.
  • Conduct joint account planning to accelerate lead conversion and sales growth.

Candidate Profile

  • NGS Expertise: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in NGS sample-prep workflows; direct experience with magnetic-bead methodologies strongly preferred.
  • Commercial Experience: Demonstrated success in selling reagents, consumables, or instrumentation within the life-science or diagnostics sector.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to operate effectively with limited infrastructure, define priorities, and build scalable processes.
  • Communication Skills: Able to clearly articulate technical details and business value to both scientific and commercial audiences.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology or related life-science discipline required; advanced degree (MSc or PhD) advantageous.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 50% or more across the region to engage customers and attend key events.
