The Role
Sales Specialist – North UK (Blood sciences)
Our client is seeking a Sales Specialist to join its dedicated Sales Team. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for managing and developing an existing customer base while expanding the company's haemostasis and thrombosis business across the North UK territory.
You will identify and develop key prospects within your territory and manage the full sales cycle, including:
- Promotion of the company's systems and solutions
- Product presentations and demonstrations
- Sales performance analysis
- Responding to tender requirements
- Monitoring market trends and producing relevant reports
Comprehensive product training will be provided. However, candidates should demonstrate a strong scientific background and a proven track record in sales. Previous knowledge of blood sciences or haematology would be a distinct advantage.
Due to the travel requirements of this role, applicants must either reside within the territory or be willing to relocate.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific or healthcare-related discipline
- Experience within the diagnostics industry is desirable
- Previous field-based sales experience preferred
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
- Open-minded, proactive, and committed to achieving both personal and team objectives
