We are looking for a highly technical Sales Specialist to join our sales team. Accountable for growing and maintaining efficient customer networks, your aim will be to increase sales of the Company’s product portfolio in the Life Sciences customer sector. You will be responsible for sales of the Company’s portfolio, including all reagents, in Cambridge accounts, and parts of the East Midlands and East region of England.
As a Sales Specialist, you must be customer oriented, knowing the customer purchasing method and giving onsite customer presentation, training and pre and post-sales support.
You will be required to maintain and communicate a high level of market and product understanding and to help the growth of marketing strategy and marketing plans, aligning with Business Unit and Company strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master Degree or higher in the sector of life sciences subject (Genetics, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology) or similar, you have Next Generation Sequencing laboratory experience with a clear knowledge of qPCR.
- The experience of hands-on Next Generation Sequencing methods and the understanding of NGS bioinformatics is not essential, but it would be an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation skills within the scientific market, you have a strong track record in sales territory management. Your excellent communication skills enable you to grow strong networks across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Full training will be given and you should either live within the territory or be willing to relocate.
