Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to drive growth in the research sector within South England. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting sales targets by promoting a portfolio of research reagents and consumables across a wide range of biomedical applications including immunology, oncology, neuroscience, and stem cell research.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales objectives and revenue growth within the assigned territory.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with new and existing clients in academia, biotech, pharma, and CRO/CMO sectors.
- Promote a comprehensive workflow of research products and solutions.
- Prepare and execute a strategic territory business plan in alignment with overall commercial goals.
- Conduct product presentations, technical seminars, and instrument demonstrations.
- Represent the company at relevant trade shows, conferences, and scientific events.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in a biological science (BSc minimum), with a strong preference for candidates holding an MSc or PhD in fields such as Immunology, Cell Analysis, or Cancer Biology.
- Demonstrable sales experience in a scientific environment.
- Proven ability to plan account activities strategically and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences from students to senior researchers.
- Well-organized, self-driven, and commercially astute.
- Must be based within the M4 Corridor and hold a valid UK driving license.
