Product Manager - South UK

Job Description

  • Create and implement a tactical programme to help the company to accomplish their business objectives in terms of sales, margin and brand position
  • Act as the technical expert with respect to the product areas covered
  • Up-keeping an excellent knowledge of the relevant competitors including pricing, positioning, advantages/disadvantages and marketing activities/strategy
  • Connect and grow networks between The Company and key opinion leaders in clinical a setting to ensure we realise the needs of the market
  • Organise studies using our products and technologies in order to create data, reports and papers which display their strengths
  • Connect with key pharma groups where the Company’s technologies can be used with their drug development programmes
  • Train staff and distributors as suitable to allow them to understand and more efficiently promote the products
  • Monitor and analyse performance of the product lines, customers and research areas, working to drive strategies to improve customer satisfaction, facilitate sales and push growth and profitability
  • Establish and help manage exhibitions/meetings to attend in order to promote the specific ranges in question as part of the overall marketing strategy
  • Help in the development of marketing resources including the company website, social media and emailing key customers
  • Build a strategy for further development of the range; establish and develop extra research areas and the suitable suppliers to work.


Bachelors or higher or similar experience in a life science subject


  • Experience of working within a scientific sales or marketing environment with strong PM skills
  • Similar professional qualification and/or certification
  • Track record of establishing possible and successful market opportunities
