Field Account Manager - North Europe

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for selling the full range of the bioprocess and lab products and services portfolio by both in-person and remote interaction to allocated accounts.
  • Meet development goals and objectives for given accounts
  • Research and develop prospects within the assigned account mix
  • Establish key decision makers and gain an understanding of the best method to liaise and grow networks
  • To fix urgent customer queries from first stage to sales manufacturing
  • Aid current business within the allocated accounts, and uncover extra opportunities (both up and downstream)
  • Identify customer requirements, develop solutions and present our offerings
  • Work alongside with Technical teams, Marketing partners and internal stakeholders, utilizing these resources to support value offerings throughout the whole sales process.
  • Manage customer presentations, displays and negotiations; give quotations, close the deal with the customer
  • Constantly monitor and pay close attention to market changes, both for competition as well as best practices. Communicate these changes to suitable internal parties to be poised to proactively respond.
  • Customer focused time up to 70%
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • BScs degree in a Life Science/Biotechnology discipline or a similar sector or minimum 5+ years of suitable practical experience with a proven ability and proven competency to work efficiently as an Account Manager within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • A minimum of 1 year sales and account management experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or 3 years selling suitable technologies into a parallel industry.
