Job Description

Key Tasks:

  • Perform sales and margin targets for your given location, through customer visits. Average 20 per week.
  • Sales and promotion of the Safety & Cleanroom portfolio of products - both directly to customers and through the generalist Account Managers.
  • Arrange and be present at customer visits - either individually or with Account Managers.
  • Administer technical support to general Account Managers (field based and telesales) and Regional Distributors.
  • Instruct and guide the preparation of quotations and tenders for Safety & Cleanroom products.
  • Establish positive relationships with suppliers to make sure that the aid for business development via joint marketing activity and price support.
  • Management and attendance in local customer seminars, exhibitions etc.
  • Establish local implementation of European Safety & Cleanroom marketing strategy.
  • Attendance in local and European sales training/ meetings/ events/ conferences, and communication with local sales organisation
  • Arrange weekly reports to your Sales Manager and maintain CRM data, to show visits, prospects, duties etc

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Safety and/or Controlled Environment Products is crucial.
  • Thorough sales experience or appropriate occupational experience to make sure of maximisation of sales opportunities and development. Added experience of major or key account management is desirable.
  • Confident attitude and able to push self and others to obtain expectations of both internal and external customers.
  • Understand how to separate and combine tasks into effective workflows, that allows for measured outcomes and expansion of resources.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to create detailed and punctual reports.
  • Ability to build strong relations with internal and external customers.
  • Good IT skills (MS Office, CRM). SAP knowledge desirable.
  • Arrange and deliver presentations to a high standard for both internal and external customers.
  • Commercial knowledge of market, competition, pricing and discount.
