Sales Specialist - North Germany

Job Description

The Role
  • Advise our customers through product and application specialist in the area of cell analysis 
  • Control a current sales base and specifically further grow current customer base in the bio-pharmaceutical industry
  • Understand your customer’s methods and offer excellent technical and budgeted solution in close cooperation with Product and Application Specialists
  • Accomplish yearly sales goals, develop a long-term pipeline for the Company and help expanding our brand value 
  • Arrange, manage and schedule customer visits for an efficient account coverage
  • Up-keep the CRM with suitable and up to date customer and sales opportunity information
  • Intently cooperate with individuals within other teams in the complex sales process to accomplish sales targets

The Person

  • Degree in biotechnology, biology or related qualifications in the life sciences
  • Industry background, with many years of marketing experience
  • Previous experience with sales in the Life Science industry
  • Able to manage sales methods for different type of products – capital equipment as well as consumables 
  • Clear focus on customer requirements, great communication and relationship building skills
  • Fluent English and German skills, both verbal and spoken
  • Eager to travel (ca. 70%) within the allocated territory and readiness for occasional international travelling
  • Self-motivated and goal focused and able to think in new ways and manage changes
