Sales Specialist - Ireland

Job Description

This is a field-based role, covering Ireland as a whole, and will involve extensive travel on a weekly basis.

The Role:

  • Push sales and profit for our Laboratory Products
  • Predicting, reporting and observations of sales performance
  • Attendance to new and current customers to promote the Company’s products and services
  • Establish all decision makers at the customer account and develop networks as needed
  • Prospecting calls to grow the sales pipeline and create leads for the wider Sales Team
  • Making sure that correct focus given to Key Accounts, Focus Accounts and Corporate Accounts across given location
  • Use the Company system to log all opportunities and campaigns and up-keep Key Account plans to expand business at major accounts
  • Maintain current understanding of the whole product range and services
  • Portray the Company at sales meeting and industry exhibitions

The Person

  • Must live within Ireland or be able to relocate
  • Valid driving licence
  • Life Science Degree or similar experience
  • Deep understanding of laboratory products (both equipment & consumables)
  • Sales experience within the bio-pharma Sector
  • Previous experience managing complicated, high-value accounts
  • A strong team player
  • Excellent business knowledge, negotiation and account management skills
  • A sales mindset, excellent presentation skills and confident in a customer-facing role
  • Fluent in English
  • Eager to travel across Ireland, including frequent overnights
