Sales Specialist - Cambridge

Job Description

The position

Due to Company growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to join our sales team for the allocated territory. You will be advertising the value proposition of our products with key clinical, procurement and finance partners.

As part of your role, your main duties will be as follows:

  • Taking a lead in the account sales methods and execution for the product portfolio on your given area, you will work alongside with Customer Account Managers, Product Specialists, Managed Laboratory Service Team and Workflow IT Specialists.
  • Organising and combining various procurements, using self-discipline and a thoughtful method to ensure sales technique is delivered on a timely manner and in full. This will include communicating with all levels of the key decision making team, including senior management. 
  • Establishing market development and changes in NHS scene on your given area (payment, procurement, tendering, and NHS methods) to increase opportunities/decrease competition.
  • Developing ingenious methods to keep current sites and acquire new sites.

The Person

Minimum Bachelor’s or similar in a life science or business management subject and with previous experience of various field sales/or understanding of laboratories product portfolio, you will be knowledgeable in understanding customer requirements and growing strong and efficient networks.

In order to be productive in this position you will need to be flexible, creative and both interchangeable to work within a changing environment. You have the mix of discipline to follow best practice and creativity to re-define best practice. You will know barriers to acceptance of new solutions and be able to push the right energy for sales outcomes. 

Self-motivated, focused and logical-minded, with the ability to work independently, yet readily liaise and share understanding to the team, you will have the ability to sell with high prospect and be able to turn method into actionable implementation. You will push sales greatness on your given area by utilising the newest sales engagement equipment.
