Regional Sales Account Manager

Job Description

A passionate candidate to meet new customers and acts as a direct sales agent for the company in the specified area. In addition perform the following tasks:

  • Regularly meet with prospect and existing customers to offer product demonstrations/training
  • Maintain/improve current customer networks, develop new opportunities
  • Independently manage and track all sales opportunities
  • Review/create product quotations on a regular basis
  • Review and submit monthly sales forecasts
  • Attend exhibitions
  • Prepare and execute a short and long term strategy for the specified territory
  • Duties & Responsibilities

  • Excellent time/project management/budget management.
  • Self-starter with working knowledge of Molecular/Cell Biology products and methods a bonus.
  • Strong networking skills and a strong team player.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce) or relevant database.
  • Possess excellent customer relationships within the specified region.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience selling within the life science market.
  • Current networks within life science/academic laboratory research field in the region.
  • Skillful of laboratory methods, objective and obstacles.
  • Experience in the life science and basic research sectors is a bonus.
  • Degree in a scientific discipline also a plus.
