Job Description:

Owning the Strategic Product Management method to give an inclusive portfolio of ambitious products including:

  • Knowledge of the global market for Microarray and NGS.
  • Examining market, describe new product development and product advancement projects and supply marketing advice to such projects
  • Communicating with customer base and potential customers to comprehend short and longer-term requirements and feedback completions to portfolio review methods
  • To take at least two days per month or likewise, facing potential customers/ customer base to seek feedback
  • Promote and give back unique selling point’s and clear pro’s in product brochures
  • Give training to new recruits concentrating on product details
  • Making sure strong transition of products and information to the regional marketing team for launch
  • Manage yearly portfolio review and suspension methods

Inputting in to the strategic marketing method

  • Input in to the growth of tactical marketing strategies for portfolio making sure that corporate strategic directives are seen to
  • Fine tune positioning and potential sales debate based on market feedback
  • Advise in to sales support article and product collateral to efficiently advertise products

Own and maintain competitor and technology database

  • Establish and update closures from excavating competitor website and literature and seeking customer feedback
  • Acquiring input from sales and support colleagues and regional marketing
  • Adapting conclusions that help push the making of successful customer value suggestion across the Company’s’ portfolio

Act as a manager and owner of results in areas of accountability

Skills:

Essential:

  • 2 years’ experience in a Global Product Management position within Life Science
  • At least BSc (Hons) in a Molecular Biology sector, an understanding and a keen interest in developing applications, new technology and uptake in clinical and diagnostic applications
  • Customer oriented
  • Excellent analytical skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in Genetics, ability to communicate in a technical manner
  • Laboratory experience in Genomics
  • Proven track record of success in increasing sales in a Molecular sector. Including looking after relationships with Key Customers/ opinion leaders in their sector
  • Successful track record in product management and or product development
