Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To take accountability for physician- facing activities related to specific areas in support of the Company's oncology business aims (South East from Derbyshire to Kent and Sussex)
  • Establish and maintain contacts with key external opinion leaders and clinical investigators, physicians, pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, and other key customers concerning medical advances, collaborative studies, and product related subjects.
  • Deliver data at key scientific meetings/conferences relating to the Company's oncology products.
  • Partake as an internal consultant and ad-hoc member of project/product development groups in supplying scientific/technical input to make sure that the clinical utility of Company's products meets clinical need.
  • Support Marketing in the design, organization, execution and monitoring of pre- and post-market field trials to confirm product achievement, increase product positioning, and meet organization aims and ambitions.
  • Maintain a far-reaching knowledge of scientific/clinical data and literature related to appropriate company and competitor oncology products and disease areas, and efficiently transfers relevant clinical/scientific information to key company personnel and external customers for business-related or educational plans.
  • Prepare managerial summaries as required to address organizational aims and objectives.
  • Work closely with the UK Sales Territory Managers to better customer education and development of sales due to optimal usage of the Company’s products.

Qualification & Skills:

  • PhD or MSc in a similar scientific discipline or relevant field (or equivalent).
  • Data management skills (i.e. basic statistical studies and data handling, interpretation of scientific data and advancement of graphics).
  • Exceptional in Scientific writing.
  • Scientific experience in areas involving Haematology, Immunology or Oncology.
  • To be bold in scientific speaking, ideally in Immunodiagnostics, haematology or oncology.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • To be a team player with the capability to liaise efficiently in a manner consistent with professional scientific politeness with all levels within the Company and Customer base.
  • A strong track record in prioritising and concurrently managing numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment for timely completion of projects.
  • The ability to accomplish goals with slightest to moderate supervision and guidance.
  • Strong professional and international skills to efficiently perform on a national basis.
  • Must be located on Territory (South East from Derbyshire to Kent and Sussex)
