Job Description:

  • Purification of abstracts, peer reviewed papers related to the Company
  • Authority of the Endnote literature database
  • Updating scientific web page content 
  • Manufacture of peer reviewed papers
  • Distribution of coordinated scientific material including slides, flyers, white papers, brochures
  • Manufacture of standard company slides to coordinate scientific message and Marketing
  • Examination of internal and external data to support KOL studies
  • Internal and external education support including organisation of presentation delivery training sessions for wider scientific support team
  • Have excellent knowledge of the Company’s assays related to monoclonal gammopathies and Specialist Immunology, including CLSI guidelines
  • To give excellent understanding of the Company’s assays, including linearity, precision, LoB, LoQ, LoD, interference and how these relate particularly to our mainstream products
  • To give inclusive company wide training (Digital, Written and Personal)
  • To travel to meet the business necessities, which will include national and international travel
  • Contribute to the quarterly R&D meetings
  • To make sure that personal objectives and priorities are met, thereby contributing to the overall project objectives and eventually the company objectives.
  • Participate, to the activities of the following functions (internal or external) to accomplish the agreed objectives:

- Assay discovery and new product growth (including process and analytical development).

- Production support.

        - Reporting and technology exchange

        - Immunisation and Immunology research

  - Clinical validation studies

- Regulatory and Quality

  • Communicate with and attend meetings with other company departments as necessary to accomplish duties and help the business to grow.
  • Attend training to grow relevant understanding and skills.
  • Attend scientific conferences and demonstrate scientific results.

Knowledge/ Skills:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology/ Immunology or related
  • PhD in Biochemistry or a similar subject (or working experience in scientific support)
  • Proven publication record
  • Scientific writing
  • Communication of complex scientific messages (digital, written, audio)
  • Presentation skills (multiple fields)
  • Sharp interpersonal skills
  • Scientific communication  both written and verbal
