The Role:
- To both grow and up-keep the brand image of the business
- To promote and advertise new products
- To organize and coordinate all forms of marketing
- To create new leads via marketing activities for the Sales Team
- To manage and inspire / develop the marketing team
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the Company’s website, including content / layout and updating
- Design and print of all branded literature, including headed paper & business cards
- Design and conduct regular e-shots, specifically targeted to customer segments and industry areas
- Create and up-keep the company’s marketing database
- Work closely with Sales Executives / Head of Sales and manage bespoke product campaigns in each geographical area
- Run & manage all trade shows & exhibitions that the company attends
- Provide regular updates to senior management on set KPI’s
- To aid in promoting / selling slow moving stock via online channels identified by Purchasing
- To manage all content on social media platforms, posting regular updates
- Report any HSE issues to the HSE & Facilities Manager
- Update the Sales team and senior management on industry news
- Updating CRM and management of up to date contacts
Qualifications/Skills:
- Preferably, University Degree related to marketing
- Understanding of Microbiology
- Preferably, some current marketing / promotion experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Great knowledge of products selling
- Ability to work closely as a team, especially with Sales Executives
- Good use of photoshop / web design programs
