Key Account Manager - North UK

Job Description

The Role:

  • Maximise competitive advantage and push customer satisfaction by growing trust and developing strong networks. Add value in every interaction by working alongside with customers and inside teams to create useful solutions for their business. Increasing sales by the way you sell.
  • Goals: Meet/exceed IOP for sales and margin. Create awareness / sales in the Company’s range to maximise margin.
  • Show strategic agility in reaching out to customers and projects (solutions must be specific to meet individual customer requirements). To put in place agreed methods across allocated accounts while up-keeping and growing current business.
  • Push possible and current opportunities by managing territory suitably to increase number of customer visits. Call customers regularly to develop opportunities for selling the Company’s portfolio of products. Understand customer profile; be able to review trends and opportunities that will create sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The person will have previous sales experience with a history of high accomplishments and top negotiation with customers within the relevant industry and suitable knowledge of market dynamics.

You will be responsible for all sales tasks, from lead creation through closing, in an allocated area using formal selling methods.

One of your duties will be for establishing main accounts and agreeing on methods and tactics for maximum growth opportunities.

You will alongside the sales and support teams for the accomplishment of customer satisfaction, revenue creation, and long-term account goals in line with company business methods.

Along with the customer and other Company tools, you will further grow the business by reviewing customer requirements; establishing solutions and developing an individual customer solution plan.

Skills/Qualifications:

To have previous commercial experience growing networks and selling to customers, preferably within the chem/ biopharma sector

You show the ability to positively communicate with people at all levels of business and a strong work ethic, who is individually driven and can work remotely.

You possess great organisational skills; can work alongside with other members of the team to arrange a growing pipeline of networks and opportunities within a clearly specified sales process.
