The Role

As an Inside Sales Service Specialist you will be accountable for UK service sales, selling service contract renewals, up-selling services and selling professional services and training. You will give customers with all the required information to order and facilitate service agreement transactions. You must have previous inside sales or telephone-based customer service experience. You will create Service campaigns including sectors such as early renewal incentive programmes, customer loyalty seminars etc. You need to have an enthusiasm for Customer Service and for 'go beyond expectations'. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the UK Sales and Technical Teams to identity product upsell opportunities. You will assist in the composing of yearly sales budgets and report progress against targets to management. You also need great attention to detail as you update and maintain data integrity and customer contact information.

The Person

  • Bachelor’s in a scientific subject preferred
  • Life Sciences or related experience
  • Previous experience of outgoing sales success – telephone based
  • Confident/skillful/good network builder that can change to customers with varied levels of expertise
  • Motivated with ambition
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
