Job Description
The Role:
This highly technical field based role is centered on installation and applications delivery of new systems.
Deliver on personal installation timelines taking into account all internal and external stakeholders needed to push projects through to completion.
Deliver projects with high level of customer satisfaction.
Perform installations, create scripts to meet customer requirements, troubleshooting and training.
Solve customer issues to making sure of increased functionality and customer satisfaction.
Perform preventative maintenance visits and repairs
Duties:
Visit internal/external kick-off seminars in order to acknowledge intentions and obligations as per pre-defined acceptance criteria.
On-site support during installation of new projects followed by script writing according the specifications of the quotation. Troubleshooting of any issues and escalation of problems when they impact project delivery timelines. Completion of all customer handover documentation including customer sign-off.
Projects can vary from a few days to 2 or more weeks and often need over-night stays.
Follow the Company’s methods to ensure 100% compliance.
Maintain and amend customer satisfaction, service quality, productivity and profitability.
Supply service support for instruments and customers with consideration of economic criteria and contractual obligations.
Liaise and cooperate with the European Service Management team, the UK management team and with other departments/manufacturers/suppliers.
Perform customer training courses.
Perform software upgrades and helpdesk support as needed.
Support of all reporting duties including compiling statistics and presentations.
Escalate and/or resolve issues in connection with customer complaints.
Ensure correct hours are logged daily.
Partake in meetings, seminars, workshops and trainings.
Support sales representatives via product displays, presentations and exhibitions.
Handle correspondence and other administrative work in connection with the job.
Support and perform quality assurance related tasks.
Accept and/or initiate supporting duties in other geographical areas as well as abroad.
Accept other tasks as allocated.

The Person:
Degree in Science.
Mechanical/Electronic Knowledge
