EMEA Sales

Job Description

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Sales, this position is accountable for managing sales covering EMEA. The position will involve managing direct customers, active distributor management and establishing new sales potential for the EMEA region.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside distributors in the EMEA area to deliver budgeted sales, push the sales pipeline and make sure of revenue increase
  • To make sure that up-to-date contracts are in place with partners  
  • Establish potential sales opportunities within current accounts to maintain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling
  • Working with after-sales to make sure increased guidance for customers and distributors is in place
  • Working with Customer Services/ Sales order management to make sure of on time and excellent service
  • Guide distributors in training events and sales meetings within the allocated EMEA countries
  • Provide correct reports to meet/exceed budget and manage key opportunities 
  • Push for customer satisfaction and grow competitive advantage by maintaining trust and relationships
  • Communicate with internal teams on accounts, contracts, logistics and product registering issues for the allocated EMEA countries
  • Manage and give regular revenue forecasts to distributors
  • Proactively liaise with the Company’s distributors, by regular calls and email agreements, to make sure their planned sales targets are being completed

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree Level or similar in Life Sciences
  • Experience of sales within the life science & Diagnostics Sector
  • Distributor Management experience
  • Experience with PCR within sales
  • Proven track record of success
  • Experience of managing a distribution chain across EMEA
  • Able to grow connections and firmly influence sales results
  • Great bargaining skills

  • 37.5 hours per week
