Business Development Manager - UK

Job Description

In this position, you will be accountable for growing new business with a strong focus on lithium-ion battery parts, battery cell and battery pack manufacturing, assembly, recycling and R&D, within Region North

Location – Remote (UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark)

    • Define the go to market plans for Region North for the battery sector, alongside the global, cross-functional battery project team
    • Accomplish Internal Operating Plan (IOP) for the sector
    • Plan, establish and aid interactions with key customers and suppliers within the market to push growth for the Company
    • Grow networks with key opinion leaders within the sector
    • Establish application and technology trends to align the Company offering with focus on new product introductions
    • Design a marketing strategy for current (and potential products) to advertise battery solutions
    • Support with the education and training to the sales teams within the area
    • Align with educational establishment and governing bodies (e.g Faraday Institute) to position the Company as a go to partner


    • Degree in a relevant technical field
    • Past experience within the Advanced Battery Science Technology (Electric Battery) industry
    • Proven B2B international business development experience
    • 5+ years global leadership roles
    • Great written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
    • Must be proficient and experienced with computers to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook – experienced with a CRM system to track sales opportunities
    • Strong managerial skills including attention to detail and multitasking ability
