Account Manager - UK

Job Description

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to organise and grow a range of accounts across the UK, Ireland, France and Belgium. You will be enthusiastic about maximising the business, establishing strong networks with clients and keen to increase sales.

You will be working from home in the UK, with national and international travel up to 50%.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Growing and managing a range of accounts across allocated territory
  • Working alongside with decision makers, spotting opportunities and maximising our reach
  • Growing your networks and selling/upselling extra products and services
  • Closely collaborating with other Account Managers and R&D team
  • Passing on leads and exchanging information
  • Negotiating deals and communicating with colleagues across the company
  • Attending exhibitions and conferences
  • Preparing reports for the senior management

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent sales experience in biotech/pharma industry
  • MSc or PhD in life sciences or similar
  • Ideally, familiar with GMP standards
  • Ability of working with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly focused on providing a holistic solution to clients
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Very collaborative internally and externally
  • Results driven – motivated by winning orders and hitting targets
