Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Competes for all Instrument sales within the given location
  • Builds and keeps strong customer relationships
  • Continuously tries to protect business in new accounts and follows customer account receivables
  • Develops and maintains the salesforce.com customer/ prospect records and produces business forecasts as required
  • Attends meetings, conferences and demonstrations to promote business
  • Maintains knowledge of the Company’s products. Understanding of competitors’ products/ prepares/ documents and updates the Company’s presentation aids appropriately

The Person

  • BSc or MSc degree in Science, ideally biology and or cell biology
  • First experience in a sales role, ideally knowledge within electromagnetic radiation and used to work with these methods
  • Enthusiastic, independent, with great organizational and team working skills, driving you to constantly seek new opportunities
  • Flexible, able to communicate with colleagues and customers, eagerness to travel across UK, Ireland (2 to 3 days per week) and across boarders from time to time
  • Desire to learn, grow and take the lead in a sales role within a fast paced organization
